Queen of Greene

Finished Aluminum link staircase designed by Ali Tayar engineered, fabricated, and installed by Ferra. This piece was for a penthouse in the iconic cast-iron building named Queen of Greene in Soho. Ferra machined hundreds of solid links that were assembled in a way that allowed them to be stored in a crate and eventually unrolled prior to install. The solid aluminum railings tied the design together and created integrity throughout. The finish is clear anodize over bead-blasted material. Super tight tolerances required on this project.
